The Lion Mountain Subdivision, located on the western edge of the City of Whitefish, is one of Flathead County’s premier private developments.

It consists of 120 lots ranging from one-half acre to over twenty acres. The terrain is considered forest mountainous and in the higher elevations of the development many home-sites have views of Whitefish Lake, Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort on Big Mountain or into Flathead Valley. There are about nine miles of private paved roads throughout the approximately 800 acres in the development. Common areas consist of several “Green Areas” including 400 feet of Whitefish Lake shore with private swimming beach/raft, picnic shelter, storage building and a 20 boat slip private subdivision marina for the enjoyment of owners.
